We are currently recruiting study participants between the ages of 60-75 who have normal vision without glasses (contact lenses are okay).
The purpose of the study is to examine how changes in visual experience affects our abilities to process sensory information. Our studies vary but often consist of behavioral and/or MRI experiments. Participation in our study is entirely voluntary; you are free to quit participating at any time.
For behavioral experiments, we will ask you to make simple judgments about visual, auditory, and/or tactile stimuli.
For MRI experiments we will ask you to lie down in an MRI scanner while you make simple judgments about visual, auditory and/or tactile stimuli.
Reasons to Volunteer:
- Directly assist researchers in understanding how the human brain learns and adapts!
- Receive monetary or token compensation for your time!
- $15/hour for travel time, $15/hour for behavioral studies, $25/hour for MRI studies
- 1 SONA credit per hour of participation (for students)
Participation in this study will consist of anywhere from one to five visits, each lasting between 15 minutes and 2 hours.
