Welcome to the Cortical Resilience Lab directed by Dr. Woon Ju Park at Georgia Institute of Technology. Our goal is to better understand how our sensory experience developmentally shapes the structure and function of the brain. To do this, we have been collaborating with both neurotypical and neurodiverse populations, including the Blind and Visually Impaired (BVI), autism spectrum, and geriatric communities. We hope our findings will help treat brain injuries, neurological conditions, and further promote lifelong cortical resilience.
We are relatively new to Atlanta (started in Fall 2024) and are excited to join and collaborate with the existing BVI, autism spectrum, and geriatric communities! We are sincerely humbled by opportunities to work with you and are likewise eager to meet everyone.
This website is designed with accessibility in mind. While we strive to make our content accessible to all, there may be experimental materials inherently reliant on visuals. If you encounter any difficulties accessing our content, we welcome your feedback and encourage you to contact us for assistance.
