graduate students
We plan to hire two full-time PhD students to start Fall 2025. We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated students who are passionate about the human sensory systems, brain development, learning, and plasticity. As a graduate student, you will become part of a dynamic and collaborative research environment, enriched by the strong computational and quantitative curriculums offered at Georgia Tech.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute experiments in alignment with your research interests.
- Develop a comprehensive research agenda leading to a thesis.
- Work closely with faculty mentors, fellow students, and cross-disciplinary teams.
- Share your research through publications, presentations at conferences, and seminars.
- Engage in teaching assistant roles and mentorship of undergraduate students.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., neuroscience, psychology, cognitive science, biology, computer science).
- Strong research and analytical skills and effective communication abilities.
- Proficiency in data analysis and programming languages (e.g., R, MATLAB, or Python).
- Previous experience in psychophysical or MRI methods is a plus.
